About AI Name Design

A free, no-sign-up hub for stylish gaming names, social media names, and Unicode text tools.

What This Site Is

AI Name Design is a free collection of tools and reference pages for building a stylish name — for a game, a social profile, or anywhere else text is accepted. Type a name and the generators show it in dozens of Unicode letter styles; browse the symbol pages and you can copy individual characters to build something yourself. Nothing requires an account, and nothing you type leaves your browser.

Why It Exists

Wanting a name that stands out should not mean installing an app, creating an account, or paying for a font pack. Every result on this site is made of standard Unicode characters — the same text system your keyboard already uses — so what you copy is plain text that pastes into any field willing to accept it.

The second reason is that most sites in this category tell you very little. They generate a styled name and stop, leaving you to find out by trial and error that a game rejects it, that a platform converts it back to plain letters on save, or that one letter did not convert at all. We would rather explain those limits up front, on the page for the tool that has them.

Who Maintains It

AI Name Design is an independent website. Every page here is written, built, and checked by the people who run it, and the contact address reaches them directly.

That is worth stating plainly because it sets expectations correctly. Replies come from the people who run the site, and they may not be immediate.

How the Content Is Checked

The factual claims on this site are mostly about Unicode characters: what a character is, how it renders, whether it is an emoji, whether it will fit a field. Those claims are checked against the character data the site actually ships rather than written from memory.

Some of that checking is automatic. When the site is built, the symbol pages are validated against their own contents — a page cannot claim its symbols are not emoji if the characters listed on it are emoji, because that contradiction stops the build before the page can be published. It is a narrow check, but it covers the mistake that is easiest to make and hardest to notice.

Where a page states something specific — that a particular letter has no superscript form, that a character occupies two units against a length limit, that reversing a flag emoji produces a different flag — that has been tested rather than assumed.

What We Do Not Promise

We cannot guarantee that any character will be accepted by a particular platform. Platforms decide which characters their name fields allow, they generally do not publish those rules, and they change them without announcement. A style that works in a game today may be rejected after the next update.

We also cannot control how a character is drawn on your device. Fonts differ between phones, desktops, and apps, and a character your font does not include will appear as an empty box no matter what any generator does.

This is why nearly every page here ends with the same advice: paste the result into the field you actually intend to use and confirm it saves before building a name around it. That test is more reliable than any claim we could make.

What You Will Find

Name pages for dozens of individual games and social platforms in the Gaming Hub and the Social Media Hub, each covering that platform's own naming rules.

Standalone generators and reference pages in the Text Tools hub, plus a symbol library organised by category, where each page explains what its characters are and where they work.

Longer guides and name lists on the blog. If something on any of these pages looks wrong, tell us — corrections are welcome and we would rather fix an error than leave it standing.

FAQ

About Us FAQ

Yes — every generator, font style, symbol, and tool is free, with no account, sign-up, or payment at any point.

No, and there is no way to. The tools run in your browser, so nothing you type is sent to a server, stored, or tied to an identity.

AI Name Design is an independent website. Every page is written and checked by the people who build the site, and the contact address goes to them directly.

Claims about characters are checked against the character data the site actually ships. Some checks run automatically when the site is built — for example, a page cannot state that its symbols are not emoji if the characters on it are emoji, because that mismatch stops the build.

No, and we would rather say so. Platforms decide which characters they accept, they do not publish those rules, and they change them without notice. We describe what we can verify and tell you to test in the actual field before committing to a name.

Email hello@ainamedesign.com or use the contact form. Corrections to factual claims are genuinely welcome — if a page states something inaccurate about a character, we want to know.

It is not currently monetised. There is no advertising on the site at present, and no paid features, subscriptions, or sponsored placements. If that changes it will be disclosed here and in the privacy policy.
