How to Make Fancy Text
Fancy text isn't a special font you install — it's made from Unicode characters that already exist in the same standard your phone or computer uses for every letter you type. That's why a fancy style copies and pastes like normal text instead of behaving like an image.
Picking a Style That Fits the Platform
Bold and small caps styles tend to read clearly at a glance, which makes them a safer choice for usernames and fast-moving chat. Heavier styles like Gothic, Zalgo, or double-struck stand out more but can be harder to read quickly — better suited to a bio, a one-time post, or a profile header than a name you want people to type back to you.
Combining Fancy Text with Symbols
A short symbol on either side of a fancy-styled word — like ✦ or 彡 — is a common way to frame a name without overwhelming it. Our Unicode Symbols page has hundreds more to pair with any style generated here.
